Gyenesdiás and Vonyarcvashegy.

Special Information

The settlements of Pannonia’s one-time main road are still the sources of countless historical findings. The Willow Well is one of them, where archaeological objects even from the Iron Age were excavated.

Vonyarcvashegy’s Willow Well – the refreshing effect of its water, quenching travellers’ thirst, can be beneficial in summer days.

Tourists can take a rest on benches in willows’ shadow next to the well named after them. The well is located near the main road, in a small territory that preserves Roman relics.
