Florridora’s Pantry Menu

Freshly baked scones, spicy tea loaf, light and fluffy sponge cake – these are some of the childhood memories from our Grandmothers’ kitchens. Like many women from an age when supermarkets had yet to be invented, Florrie and Dora knew how to prepare delicious treats for their families from locally available, simple ingredients. We remember our regular visits to homes filled with mouthwatering aromas and a welcome of “I knew you were coming so I have just made a few cakes.”

Now, in tribute to their skills, and using traditional recipes from their vintage cookbooks, we are proud to offer a selection of their favourite creations that recall a bygone age when everything wasn’t pre-packaged and full of chemicals and additives.

All of our treats are lovingly home-made using, wherever possible, home-grown or locally produced ingredients – from the fresh eggs laid by our happy hens to the fruit and vegetables from our own garden – and we guarantee no additives! We are sure you will taste the difference.

We are delighted to welcome you to Florridora’s Pantry and hope you will enjoy your time with us.
