Interesting facts (good to know)
Every year on World Water Day small paper boats -made by children- and a little model sailing-boat are set on their way from the pier in Balatongyörök. On the same day families can take part in water related games and competitions.
There are regular cruise trips, boat trips for children and disco ship services departing from the landing pier in Balatongyörök. Wine-lovers may enjoy a boat trip to Badacsony and for the romantic there is a possibility to watch the sunset from the lake.
