Saturday-Sunday: 10am-6.00pm
(depending on weather conditions in case of rainstorm the park is closed)
After 15. September the park is only on pre-announced days open.

The Dog Park and Piknikgarden in Keszthely is waiting for everybody, who would like to spend pleasant time, to play or swim with their dogs in wonderful environment. We also have special events for dogs and their owners.

In the Piknikgarden our visitors can find and try products from Balaton region.

With its sandy beach, children’s swimming pool, toys conform to EU standards the Lido is a favourite among children and adults alike. For the youngest, the funhouse is a real source of excitement, where animators look after them; older kids can test their skills on the giant waterslide, the beach volleyball course or the beach handball course.

There is a free parking lot accompanying the beach. The parking lot is accessible through three entrance gates with cashiers. Besides cabins for rent, there are cabins that are free to use, too.

Helikon beach

The beach lies at the edge of the town, we can say a bit distorted according to the title of the old film The Helikon Beach is said to be the smaller brother of Municipial Beach. You have to turn left from Festetics street, across the railway crossing. Leave your car in the car park, and rush to the water which is the best either in the morning or late in the afternoon.

19000 m2 green area for having sunbath, willow trees buzzling with the wind, langos for lunch and paddle boat as the aquatic public transport. Those who wish for other sports can use the volleyball court or the football pitch and chess can be played as well.

The Beach in Gyenes, due to its coziness and natural environment, is the most popular among families with little kids. The tranquil environment, the enchanting Lake Balaton, and the intimate atmosphere make this lido beach situated on the western border of Gyenesdiás popular among the guests. Even the smallest ones can enjoy the lake safely in the shallow waters of the beach or play in the nicely shaded sand, while you peacefully enjoy your stay by the Lake Balaton. Young people can enjoy the sandy beach soccer field or play beach volleyball but they can rent a water bike as well. If you feel hungry try the traditional Hungarian Balaton beach meals such as the so-called “lángos” or the fried fish with beer and ice-cream – just to mention a small selection from the various different types of foods and snacks that are available at the snack bars of the beach. The Lido Beach in Gyenes can also be visited for free with the Gyenesdiás Plus.
