Looking after the good health of our eyes is also part of a healthy lifestyle. This is especially important during summer, when the eyes are exposed to UV radiation. If you wear contact lenses and they do not have UV protection, it is recommended to wear sunglasses with UV protection. Also UV protection contact lenses are available. If you wear glasses, make sure that the lenses are equipped with UV filter. Lenses might be transition or normal, but in order to achieve maximum protection consult an eye specialist or optician. Children shall be protected from UV radiation to an even greater extent.
